John,
My campaign for Congress challenged the conventional wisdom that you have to uncritically support Israel’s government in order to win U.S. elections. I’ve joined other progressives in Congress who are unafraid to speak out for Palestinian human rights, and to hold our government accountable for its complicity in apartheid.
Our advocacy reflects a shift in Democratic voters, the majority of whom sympathize with Palestinians and don’t want our taxpayer dollars to fund human rights abuses.
As we’ve built power, anti-Palestinian lobbying group AIPAC is mobilizing against us. In 2022, AIPAC created its first-ever PAC and a SuperPAC called the United Democracy Project. Along with their affiliated PAC, Democratic Majority for Israel, these groups spent $41 million to defeat progressives in 2022’s election cycle.
Pro-Trump billionaires poured millions of dollars into these PACs, in order to shape the Democratic Party in primaries and support Republicans against Democrats in general elections. In addition to this anti-democratic work, AIPAC PAC keeps endorsing insurrectionist Republicans.
Democrats need to recognize that AIPAC is an anti-democratic group, and reject support from AIPAC. That’s how we take back our power and refuse to be silenced when it comes to speaking out against injustice.
Please sign now to tell Democratic candidates running in 2024: Do not take money from AIPAC PAC or its network of PACs. Reject endorsements and funding from these right-wing, anti-democratic groups.

More people are recognizing that AIPAC and its connected PACs are out of alignment with the Democratic Party, Democratic voters, and democracy itself.
After a Democratic candidate for Congress in North Carolina took donations from and embraced support from the AIPAC PAC, the North Carolina Democratic Party’s Progressive Caucus rescinded their endorsement of her.
The Caucus wrote: “We stand by our progressive American values of democracy and human rights for all.”
If we truly support democracy, human rights, justice, and equity, that means we have to take a stand for Palestinian rights. That may make us targets and anger those who want to maintain the unjust status quo. But we can’t let that stop us.
Will you sign the petition to tell Democratic candidates to refuse support from AIPAC?
Thank you for continuing to expand what’s possible as we build the world our communities need and deserve.
With love,
Cori
