Last week, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted in favor of my Supreme Court ethics bill, spearheaded on the Senate side by my friend Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse.

Unfortunately, not a single Republican supported it. That’s because Senate Republicans cheated to unfairly pack the Supreme Court full of right-wing ideologues — and they know my bill will be effective in stopping some of the most egregious behavior by their ultraconservative justices and return some measure of integrity and accountability to the court.
While the Senate might vote to pass the Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act, the House is still controlled by Kevin McCarthy’s MAGA majority.
We need to retake the House majority and keep the White House to get this bill to President Biden’s desk and finally achieve accountability for rogue, self-righteous Supreme Court justices who are living it up on subsidies from right-wing billionaire mega-donors.
