I won't lie to you, John:

Even though scientists predicted the massive flooding and extreme heat we are experiencing, it's still a terrifying wake-up call to see it right in front of us.

And what's even scarier is that if we don't take drastic action now, our children and grandchildren will suffer a reality on this planet that is far, far worse.

• Maine, to support local groups organizing for the Pine Tree Ballot initiative, a first-of-its-kind climate solution that provides a sustainable alternative to oil and gas utilities,
• New Jersey, to work with climate partners in the fight against the East African Crude Oil Pipeline,
