Join us at Parish Hall or over Zoom to help plan the Fall Reading Group! Let’s decide what books we'll be reading, what the pace will be, and what kind of snacks we'll be eating along the way. Bring your ideas for great books to read and help us plan a great program. Always remember: the world is run by those who show up.

Have you filled out our National Convention Priority Survey? Our Chapter is sending seven delegates to the 2023 DSA National Convention held in Chicago, Illinois, on August 4th-6th. This convention is held every other year, and is the highest decision-making body of the organization. There, delegates from across the country will meet to set our course for the next two years and elect our new National Political Committee (NPC), which functions as DSA’s highest decision-making body between conventions.
Let us know what issues you would like our delegates to prioritize at the upcoming National Convention at this link. We want to hear from you!

SOUTHERN SOLIDARITY IN NEW ORLEANS - Call for Volunteers and Donations
Our comrades with Southern Solidarity would greatly appreciate donations and more volunteers to support their work this Summer! Southern Solidarity is a grassroots, community-based group of volunteers in solidarity with the unhoused in their quest toward liberation. They organize the delivery of food, medical resources and basic needs directly to the unhoused in the downtown area of New Orleans because our government has not filled this need. Donate to help them get more supplies to distribute. Reach out to volunteer for food prep and delivery.
