Hi  John,

I recently had the pleasure to speak on the Unreasonable podcast[[link removed]] about the dangers of the White Christian Nationalist movement and the potential of the humanist and atheist community to counter this threat to the separation of church and state and our pluralist democracy.

Help the Center for Freethought Equality increase the political clout of the humanist and atheist community -- both as a voting bloc and as elected officials -- with a generous gift today![[link removed]]

The Center for Freethought Equality has done groundbreaking work to empower our community -- the announcement by Congressman Jared Huffman (CA-2) that he is a humanist and agnostic, the formation of the Congressional Freethought Caucus, the expansion of the number of atheist and humanist elected officials from 5 to 72 at the state and federal level since 2016, and the creation of the Association of Secular Elected Officials.

The Center for Freethought Equality, the advocacy and political arm of the American Humanist Association, is committed to politically empowering our community.

Help us increase the political engagement of the atheist and humanist community -- with a generous donation today![[link removed]]

As the humanist and atheist community becomes more engaged in the political and electoral arenas -- including serving in public office -- our nation’s public policies will reflect the values of our community to prioritize social, economic, and environmental justice using evidence-based policy solutions. Building political power for the humanist and atheist community will establish a more equitable and sustainable future for America.

The rapidly growing humanist and atheist community has the potential to counter the influence of the White Christian Nationalists who are far too powerful and dangerous -- as demonstrated in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol -- in our political culture. We are the constituency that can end their anti-democratic, bigoted, anti-science, racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, and homophobic crusade -- but we need your support to make that happen.

With your financial investment we will be able to expand our efforts -- please make a generous donation today! [[link removed]]

Thank you for your support to make America safer, saner, and more secular.

Sincerely,

Ron Millar
Political & PAC Coordinator
