The driving force behind running for Governor of our great state is to make our state’s economy stronger so future generations can call Louisiana home. That begins by talking with people who experience running a business first hand. 

Last Wednesday, I spoke with the Baton Rouge Industrial Group on how we can work together to keep businesses here in Louisiana. I look forward to increasing economic opportunities in our state by simplifying our tax code and getting the government out of the way of job creators. 

I also experienced the best of Louisiana’s coastline in a Coastal Restoration Tour. Our beautiful coastline attracts people to Louisiana each day and is an integral characteristic of our state. We took a tour that showed the need for conserving our coast and wetlands.
