House Democrats Unveil Resolution to Censure George Santos
Last week, House Democrats unveiled a resolution to formally censure George Santos for blatantly lying to voters about his life story.
Even though Republicans are likely to block the measure, he more than deserves it. Santos has disgraced the institution of the U.S. House of Representatives with his lies, fraud, and misrepresentations. He’s an admitted liar who is facing federal charges of wire fraud and money laundering. Many GOP leaders have called on him to resign.
But House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is standing in the way of this censure motion, so we need to do this the old-fashioned way, by DEFEATING Santos at the polls.

Censure is a serious punishment. It’s only happened a few dozen times in the history of the Congress. But if anyone deserves it, George Santos does.
