A group of Congressional women have introduced a joint resolution to finally codify the Equal Rights Amendment into the Constitution after 100 years.

The Equal Rights Amendment would guarantee equal rights under the law regardless of sex. The vast majority of Americans support this amendment, and it’s been ratified by the required 38 states needed to amend the Constitution.

Now, this resolution recently introduced in Congress would circumvent the arbitrary deadline set many years ago so we could FINALLY see equal rights under the law — a game changer for reproductive rights and gender equality.
