I want to share a lesson that my parents taught me very early on.

My Mom, a Democrat, and my Dad, a “Milliken” Republican, didn’t see eye to eye on a range of issues. But they did agree on this: Everyone is important, and everyone deserves to be listened to.

During my campaign, I visited all 83 counties in Michigan, and we did that with an average online donation of just $18. I’m asking if you will match our average online donation of $18 on the 18th so we can continue listening to everyone and building our movement for the people, by the people.

That’s $18 to help increase access to health care, especially to new mothers and children across our state.

That’s $18 to invest in our children’s future by fixing the leaking ceilings in their schools and providing our hard-working teachers with the support and resources they need to do their job.

That’s $18 to keep our promise to fix the damn roads once and for all.
