❌ Almost a decade ago, the U.S. tried to convince Xi not to militarize the newly constructed islands in the South China Sea – and that failed.


❌ When evidence suggested the CCP engaged in a COVID coverup in 2020, we continued to engage with China and give them the benefit of the doubt.
