Hi John,
Workers are getting sick and even dying in this historic heat wave— and there is NO federal law that protects workers from the heat.
Instead of helping everyday people, extremists like Texas Gov. Greg Abbott are passing laws to eliminate workers’ limited rights to things like water breaks.
To fight back, we’re supporting Congressman Greg Casar at a thirst strike on the steps of the U.S. Capitol. That means Congressman Casar isn’t drinking water or taking breaks from standing on the Capitol steps *all day* in solidarity with workers.

We at the Jane Fonda Climate PAC know that together, we can make real change in the toughest of circumstances. While we continue to tackle the root cause of these extreme heat waves – burning fossil fuels – we will do everything we can to protect workers everywhere from the harm they cause. We can push back against corporate special interests that take away workers’ rights, while the Biden Administration can take action to guarantee heat safety protections for all workers.
Can you split a $10 donation between Congressman Casar & the Jane Fonda Climate PAC right now to help us keep up the fight for these basic rights?

In solidarity,
Jane Fonda Climate PAC
