In the 22 midterm elections prior to 2022 (that's 1934 - 2018), the President's party lost an average of 28 House seats and four Senate seats.

In 2022, Democrats lost only 10 House seats — and we gained a Senate seat. That wouldn't have been possible if Democratic pro-choice women hadn't held their seats in some of the toughest races of the cycle.

We beat the odds last year, John, thanks in large part to the strength and support of this community. And that's a good thing, because the House and Senate are back on the line — so we've got to do even better this cycle.
