John, if you can’t beat ‘em, invest a couple billion dollars to create new, clean energy jobs in their congressional districts.
At least, that’s what Joe Biden’s doing to get Marjorie Taylor Greene’s district on board with his climate goals.
Now home to the largest solar manufacturing plant in the Western Hemisphere, Dalton, Georgia, is just one of many historically red, rural districts across the country facing a massive employment resurgence thanks to the clean energy job investments made possible by the Inflation Reduction Act.
But despite voting against the landmark climate bill, Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene are taking all the credit for the new jobs the Inflation Reduction Act has created in their districts.
BACK BIDEN’S CLEAN ENERGY AGENDA » [link removed]
We’re not surprised by the hypocrisy, John. The Inflation Reduction Act is boosting rural economies across America, and Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene just want to cover their tracks by stealing the limelight for the very investments they shot down in Congress.
Here at SEEC PAC, we’ve seen how popular the Inflation Reduction Act investments have been in communities like Dalton. And we know exactly which leaders helped make these transformative policies possible (spoiler alert: it wasn’t Fossil Fools like Greene!). Help us recruit and support more climate leaders in 2024 so our Members can continue spearheading the clean energy revolution in Congress with a donation today.

Whether Marjorie Taylor Greene likes it or not, the clean energy revolution is happening in her own backyard — and our SEEC Members are running full throttle in D.C. to make sure every district in the nation has the resources to get on board, too.
