John, FEC fundraising reports became public earlier this month, and the difference between our campaign and Marc Molinaro’s couldn’t be more clear:

“Nearly 95 percent of Riley’s donations came from individual donors, whereas 30 percent of Molinaro’s money came in that way. The rest of Molinaro’s take came from PACs and transfers from other political committees.”

You read that right – 70% of Marc Molinaro’s campaign cash came from PACs and party bosses. In fact, only 18 real people in our Congressional district gave to Marc Molinaro in the last three months, according to his latest FEC filing. (By contrast, we had over 1,000 people in NY-19 contribute over the same period of time.)

John, special interests are pouring money into Molinaro’s campaign because they’re scared. Kevin McCarthy, Elise Stefanik, pharmaceutical companies, even the NRA – they can see we have all the momentum in this must-win race, and they’re piling on as much dark money as they can to stop us in our tracks.
