July 2023

Josh is on the road!

July continues to be a busy month for Josh as he travels the state and meets with community leaders and voters. Check out some of the highlights — from Corolla to Greensboro to Elkin👇👇👇

Thank you to @AudubonNC for having me out in Corolla yesterday! North Carolina's natural beauty is unmatched—and it's important that we do everything we can to preserve it. As our state's next Governor, I'll continue supporting conservation efforts. -Josh Stein via Twitter

Joined @GladysARobinson in Greensboro last evening for a community event! It was great to speak with so many leaders — together, we can build a better future for North Carolina. Thank you for your leadership, Senator! - Josh Stein via Twitter

Fantastic music, food, and company—a big thank you to Surry, Wilkes, and Yadkin County Democrats for inviting me to join their July picnic this weekend! - Josh Stein via Twitter

Here’s Josh below with members of the North Carolina Education Association earlier this month as they gathered together to prepare for the school year ahead. Supporting our educators is deeply important to Josh. That’s because well-funded schools and strong support systems for our kids are critical to building a brighter future for North Carolina.

It was great to meet so many educators and public school workers at last week's @ncae event in Raleigh! Across North Carolina, teachers are helping shape the next generation of leaders—and it's critical that we do everything we can to support them. - Josh Stein via Twitter

Some good eats!

The best part of all this travel (besides meeting with voters, obviously) — stopping at some of North Carolina’s best restaurants and diners!

Some of Josh’s (and Anna’s) favorite stops included Crab Shack in Salter Path and Grandpa’s BBQ in Littleton. Check out that #SunsetwithStein too 👀

Great time at the Crab Shack in Salter Path today with Anna (check out these plates!) Can’t help but have a great time in Carteret County. - Josh Stein via Twitter

Enjoying some Grandpa’s BBQ in Littleton tonight. Check out the 🌈. #SunsetsWithStein - Josh Stein via Twitter

Making our collective voice heard to stop hate.

Earlier this month, Jewish Insider reported on social media posts by Mark Robinson that “repeatedly minimized Nazi atrocities and promoted conspiracy theories about Hollywood and the media using Yiddish ethnic slurs, among other incendiary assertions.”

Following these reports, faith organizations and members of North Carolina’s congressional delegation sent a letter calling out Robinson’s inflammatory, hateful statements.

Josh Stein is proud to stand with other leaders against Robinson's bigotry. Add your name here to join in condemning bigotry of all forms >>> [[link removed]]

Thanks for your continued efforts in our fight for a brighter future for North Carolina.

Josh Stein has been fighting for North Carolinians for over 20 years. He’s running for Governor to ensure that the people of North Carolina remain our state’s top priority. Josh believes that North Carolina’s progress must be rooted in our shared values of freedom, fairness, and opportunity for everyone. That means fighting extremism at all levels of government and holding bad actors accountable.

Josh spent the last six years as Attorney General delivering for the people of North Carolina. He will continue his work, but he can only get there with your help. Republicans are already coalescing behind an extreme candidate and we can’t let our state fall into the wrong hands. Donate now to elect Josh Stein as the next Governor of North Carolina!
