This new poll is huge news. Here are the details, John: 

• After voting to acquit Donald Trump this month, Susan Collins’ lead has officially evaporated. Democrat Sara Gideon is running a strong campaign and is now leading Collins 43%-42%. 
   
• A majority of Maine voters say that Collins was wrong to acquit Donald Trump last month and nearly 70% say they have a negative or mixed view of Collins following the impeachment trial. 

This is yet another poll showing another Senate Republican trailing to a grassroots-funded Democratic challenger, putting us in a strong position to flip the four seats necessary to take back our government in November.
