“Volunteer work” often feels like there’s this huge barrier to entry in front of it — as if the only way to make an impact is by being a policy genius with an MFA.

But the truth is, anyone can be an effective volunteer. All you need is a basic understanding of our health care system, and an interest in talking to people — either in person or via text — about Medicare for All. That’s it!

Election season is really heating up now. And with so much of the spotlight being put on U.S. health care, now is a more important time than ever before to get more involved with our work to win Medicare for All.
