During the last Democratic debate, Bernie Sanders made taking on the fossil fuel industry a top priority in combating the climate crisis.

"We have got to be super aggressive if we love our children and if we want to leave them a planet that is healthy and is habitable. What that means is we got to take on the fossil fuel industry." -- Bernie Sanders

We want to hear your thoughts on this: Do you agree with Bernie that our next President needs to be tough and stand up to the fossil fuel industry?

When it comes to lobbying on climate change legislation, the fossil fuel, transportation, and utility industries outspend environmental groups 10 to 1.

And the fossil fuel industry has reportedly spent more than $370 million quietly lobbying to prevent climate action in the United States -- But Bernie Sanders just called them out in front of nearly 9 million fired up Americans.

And he called out other Democratic candidates whose climate plans don't include taking on these big polluters.

"I get a little bit tired of Democrats afraid of big ideas."
"So please don't tell me that we cannot take on the fossil fuel industry. Nothing happens unless we do that." -- Bernie Sanders

Do you believe every Presidential candidate should support an aggressive climate policy that holds the fossil fuel industry accountable? Take our poll! →
