Team – do you remember when Republican extremists like Lauren Boebert were on the fringe of the GOP?

It feels like a long time ago. Under the current Republican majority in the House of Representatives, it’s clear that Boebert and her fellow extremists are the ones driving the GOP’s radical agenda — on everything from abortion rights, to voting rights, to the fight against climate change.

We can’t expect right-wing politicians like Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Kevin McCarthy to stop attacking our fundamental freedoms. What we CAN do is take away their power to keep doing it — which is why it’s so vital that Democrats retake the House next year.

I’m working hard in Washington to make bipartisan progress where I can, and I’m proud of the legislation I’m sponsoring with Republican colleagues to improve access to mental health care, tackle our opioid epidemic, and help communities better prepare for natural disasters.

But that doesn’t mean I’m not going to fight back however I can when extremists come after our democracy and our fundamental freedoms. And building a powerful grassroots movement to defend this seat and retake control of the House is one of the most important ways we can fight for our values.

Any amount you can give will go a long way toward taking control of Congress away from far-right extremists — and it will power our movement to help out the regular families whose needs so often go overlooked.
