It’s the event that started it all! Angels with Tails launched PAWS Chicago’s No Kill mission 26 years ago, and it’s still saving lives today.    

Join us in Roscoe Village where your favorite shops will be opening their storefronts to adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Bring the whole family and meet your new best friend!   
 

5K Walk/Run For Their Lives

The PAWS 5K raises critical funds and awareness for homeless dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Plus, it’s a whole lot of fun!  

There are sponsor giveaways, a dog agility course, a doggy oasis with pools and dog spa services, a photo station and other fun photo ops, raffles, treats, and you'll meet tons of other pet lovers. 
 

Take Your Pick of the Litter

Kitten Season is upon us and after placing dozens in foster homes until they were old enough to be spayed or neutered, our Adoption Center is full of little ones ready to find families!   

Rise to the Kitten Season Challenge and help us place 450 kittens in homes—welcome one (or two or three!) kitties into your family this spring.

Summer fun also brings summer hazards. Learn how to keep your pet safe while making the most of lovely weather with tips from Dr. Jared Cohen from Blum Animal Hospital, a Veterinary Centers of America (VCA) clinic.  

PAWS Chicago is excited to partner with NVA clinics and VCA animal hospitals to give our adopters the best options for post-adoption care.  

Your Pet's Cuteness Can Save Lives!

Tell your pets to strike a pose! Pet features in our 2024 Desktop Calendar are now available.  

Starting at just $85, you can add a photo of your pet and a special message to this keepsake. Plus, anyone who reserves space in the calendar can add a pet portrait session with NEW PHOTOGRAPHER Van & Bella’s for $250.  

As always, funds raised go directly to helping save the lives of homeless pets.

Spot’s new start

Horribly injured and living on the streets, Spot was in real trouble...until the PAWS Community Outreach Team stumbled upon him and transformed his life.
