I never enjoy announcing that we didn’t hit a goal, but I’m also someone who appreciates transparency.
So here we go…
Last week, we sent out several emails about a matching challenge to raise $100,000 before midnight on Friday, July 21st.
If you’ve listened to enough public broadcast fundraisers, you’ve probably been trained into thinking that the organization will always squeak out the funds they need in the last few minutes of the fundraising drive.
But unfortunately, that’s not always the case. And on Friday, we came up short — by over $20,000. ([link removed])
You may not realize this, but as a non-profit organization that’s supporting a network of over 5 million patriots and thousands of volunteers across the country, our work is only possible because of funding that comes directly from “We the People.”
Your gifts — even $10 — add up to be how we “keep the lights on.” Although for us, we don’t own any fancy office buildings, so “keeping the lights on” equates more to things like building out tech infrastructures so that we’re ready to beat censorship by big tech, actively recruiting petition signatures and then delivering them directly to the appropriate state legislators, hosting rallies at state capitols to secure legislative support before votes on the COS Resolution, building out and executing on advanced state strategies to push us across the finish line… and much, much more.
Because your support is so critical to funding the next initiatives we’ll be rolling out through the end of the summer and into this fall, we’ve secured permission to extend our matching challenge for one more day… until midnight tonight.

P.S. The winds of change are blowing in the states. 19 have already passed the COS Resolution, and perhaps even more encouraging, 12 states have passed Delegate Limitation Acts to instruct and govern their commissioners when at the convention. To me, it’s a clear sign that state legislators understand that an Article V Convention is inevitable… or they would not be spending the time to deliberate and vote on Delegate Limitation Acts. Thank you for standing with us and making this historic movement a reality.
