I'd like to invite you to this special fundraiser for State Senate Democratic Nominee Saddam Salim at my home in the City of Fairfax on August 5th at 6 PM.

My election to become City of Fairfax's first female mayor was a historic event - and I'm hoping we can make history again when Saddam becomes the first ever Bangladeshi-American elected to Virginia State Senate.

Saddam and I were just at the Women's Summit this past weekend where we were part of the incredible energy and excitement that Democrats are generating for the election this fall. We must do all we can to keep the Senate and take back the House.
