John, since announcing my re-election campaign, the outpouring of support from my NC community has left me speechless.

I knew running again wouldn’t be easy as a new mom. But I knew it was important to ensure that I can provide a brighter, progressive future for my daughter, her generation, and future generations to come.

And I’ve already started on that work. Since being elected as County Commissioner, I’ve fought to raise the minimum wage for county workers and provide housing assistance during the pandemic.

Now, I’m continuing my fight to be the voice Durham deserves because our local community members matter: not just as numbers or ideas, but as real people.
