It’s been nearly a year and a half since the full-scale invasion in Ukraine, and war continues to threaten lives and tear families apart. The war has displaced almost 14 million people both internally and to neighboring countries, and those remaining in conflict-affected areas lack access to food, water, medical care, and electricity. In Ukraine, with the support of our generous community, we have reached 1.38 million people, with urgently-needed aid like food, shelter, and clothing, as well as legal and psychosocial support. I am writing today to ask you to make your first donation to our Global Emergency Response Fund. Our goal is to raise $300,000 by September 29 to help provide critical aid to people affected by some of the world’s worst humanitarian crises in places like Ukraine, Syria, Haiti, and Sudan.
Dobra Fabryka, one of Mercy Corps’ partners, was on all-night duty as one of the first Polish organizations at the Ukrainian border providing supplies and aid.
When you give to our Global Emergency Response Fund, you can help us continue to provide support like this when crises strike while helping communities build back stronger. Will you make a gift today to help us be ready for the next emergency? With your support, we can help families meet their most urgent needs while supporting communities as they develop bold solutions to thrive. Thank you, Kyle DeGraw Mercy Corps Head of Media, Europe |
