As we face the challenges of climate change, it is vital for our elected representatives and candidates, like myself, to take proactive steps toward a greener and more environmentally responsible society.

I am committed to addressing climate change and strongly advocate for implementing a Carbon Fee and Dividend policy. This policy would reduce carbon emissions throughout the economy while ensuring the burden does not fall on consumers.

By holding polluters accountable, a carbon fee would help to significantly reduce America's carbon pollution by 50% by 2030, setting us on a path towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. 

Additionally, the proceeds from the carbon fee would be returned to U.S. households in the form of carbon cashback.

This approach helps low- and middle-income individuals afford higher prices while reducing air pollution and contributing to a healthier population.
