YDNC is heading back to the annual Charlotte Pride festival.
This year, we're on a mission to energize young people and educate voters on the new voter ID laws threatening access to the ballot box across the state.
We're going to be:
talking to voters about their upcoming municipal elections
making sure folks know about the new voter ID law
helping folks register at their current address
having a good time as a progressive community
We're excited to get to work, but we need your help to cover our tabling fees, literature printing costs, expenses for snacks and water for our volunteers braving the August heat, and more.
