"Earlier this year Carmen approached me to ask what I thought about her running for Congress. I encouraged her to run and am proud to announce my endorsement of Carmen to be our next Congresswoman in the 8th Congressional District. Commitment to public service runs deep within Carmen. She has served on many private boards and public committees throughout South King County. Her commitment to the community is why in 2021 I awarded Carmen the King County Council MLK Medal of Distinguished Service. I look forward to Carmen serving as our next Congresswoman."
I am deeply honored to receive Reagan’s endorsement! Reagan has been a tireless champion of respect for our criminal justice system while also being a devoted advocate of those who suffer from substance abuse and mental health disorders.
