John,
In a town hall meeting after President Donald Trump says he received a letter naming him as a "target" of Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation into the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol, he went out of his way to tell another election lie.
He implied that there was widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election including “phony ballots” that could have tipped the balance.
This is 100% false.
My job is to lead with the truth and defend our democracy, which is why I responded quickly and publicly to this latest effort to mislead. Silence would risk harm to our election system.
I continue fighting back against disinformation but with front-running candidates spreading lies, I need your help to correct the record. End-of-month deadlines are a critical time to show our moment. We need to raise another $12,500 by then.
John, will you please chip in $5 or whatever you can right now?
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process now. |
Ballots have a variety of security measures that make it nearly impossible for anyone to recreate them.
Even if someone would be able to exactly recreate a ballot, there are many procedures in place to catch fraud or mistakes every step of the way.
This is why it’s so critical that we have the funds to fight back against this type of disinformation. John, will you chip in $5 or more before our end-of-month deadline?
Thanks for everything,
Steve
