John, the Equal Rights Amendment would legally end gender-based discrimination once and for all - allowing us to protect reproductive rights, enforce equal pay, and so much more. And now, it has finally been ratified by the required 38 states. 

But even though the vast majority of Americans support it, an arbitrary deadline is preventing us from adding this amendment to the Constitution. This joint resolution would allow us to circumvent this deadline and finally certify the ERA.

This is our best chance to stop the GOP's far-right attacks against women, restore reproductive freedom nationwide and defend our civil rights. But the harsh reality is that we can't get this done if Democrats lose the Senate majority.
