John, Ron DeSantis has been Governor of Florida for nearly 5 years — and he’s spent that entire time attacking Black history in public schools.
His latest move? Claiming that slavery actually benefited some enslaved persons!!
That’s right, John. DeSantis’ new curriculum teaches Florida middle schoolers that enslaved persons picked up skills that translated into profitable crafts after slavery ended.
This is insanity. But that’s just Florida under Ron DeSantis — a state that refuses to teach children that slavery is bad.
That’s why here at The Collective PAC, we’re mounting a FULL-SCALE grassroots push to mobilize our top supporters to fight back against DeSantis and his blatant white supremacy. Will you chip in $10 to join the fight today?
