It’s a little known fact that many voters skip out on primary elections…

Did you know? — In DeSoto County, nearly ALL of our elected offices will be decided during the Republican Primary on Tuesday, August 8th.

If you want your vote to matter, you MUST vote in the upcoming Republican Primary! Don’t let a select few decide what’s best for DeSoto County.

MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE!

If you are registered to vote, please make sure you know where to cast your ballot on Election Day. If you are unsure, you can find your polling location by clicking here.

Polls are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 8th. As long as you’re in line by 7:00 pm, you will be able to cast your ballot.

Lastly, don’t forget your ID! Mississippi requires photo identification for all voters. This can be your Driver’s License, a passport, your license to carry, a Student ID, and more. Click here for a full list of accepted IDs. Expired IDs may be used as long as they are no more than 10 years old.
