2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive

[link removed]

Dear Friend,

Alzheimer's disease is alarming. 1 in
3 seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia. It kills more
than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.

But behind the statistics are mothers,
fathers, friends and neighbors. They are people we care about, and
they are counting on us to keep working until we find a cure for this
cruel disease. Thanks for caring so much about our work together.
Please support our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive before July 31 and
make a difference that will last through the summer and all year
long.

Early detection can mean more time
with your loved ones. That's especially important, as treatments which
slow progression of the disease in people living with early
Alzheimer's receive Food and Drug Administration approval.

Getting an early diagnosis may extend
health and quality of life. As a member of the 2022-2023 Alzheimer's
Association National Early-Stage Advisory Group, Tony Gonzales wants
to educate others about the importance of early detection and
diagnosis, so we all have the opportunity to savor every day.

"My diagnosis has given me a new
love for life and a chance to reevaluate what's really important. I
give more hugs now, say 'I love you' to more people and appreciate
every moment," he says.

His wife, Kori, agrees that research,
education and early diagnosis are crucial. "That is why we have
to fight for new treatments and, ultimately, a cure," she says.
"We are trying to save the lives of our kids and
grandchild."

They're optimistic about progress
being made through research and new therapies that treat people living
with early Alzheimer's. But that will only happen if people know the
signs, see their doctors and have full access to treatment. Please
help advance education and outreach, drive research and provide
crucial care and support, with your first gift to our 2023 Summer
Annual Fund Drive now.

For Tony and Kori and for people we
love, we have to keep fighting. Throughout the summer and every day,
you will help advance our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's
and all other dementia - by accelerating global research,
driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality
care and support.

Friend, your
first gift to our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive will help ensure we
can:

* Provide free resources to the millions of Americans affected by
Alzheimer's, from our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) to our
website at alz.org to our education programs and support groups.

* Lead the global effort to eliminate Alzheimer's by bringing
researchers together to accelerate the pace of discovery toward
methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
* Advocate unrelentingly for the rights of the Alzheimer's and
dementia community, as well as for the research funding that
will change the trajectory of this disease.

Thanks to you, we're active in
communities across the country, providing support and education and
making sure the voices of those with Alzheimer's are heard.

Voices like Tony and Kori's. And
voices from your community. Alzheimer's hits close to home and the
number of people living with the disease grows each year. That means
every day even more people will reach out to us for care and support.
We must answer the call together and do all we can to help. Thanks for
doing your part this summer to help provide vital care and support and
advance research all year long with your first gift now.
