Visit one of Wyoming's ten fish hatcheries
Hatchery tour
A fish hatchery is one of the only places people can get an up-close view at fish in all stages of their life - and they welcome visitors year round. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department operates ten hatcheries and rearing stations across the state, open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., daily.?Youth who visit four or more hatcheries and submit photos of themselves with the hatchery sign are eligible to complete the Hatchery Hop--part of the Youth Fishing Challenge. Youth invited to Medicine Lodge Kids Outdoor Day

Youth from across Wyoming are invited to the upcoming Medicine Lodge Kids Outdoor Day ? an exciting and fun filled day of outdoor activities for kids on Aug. 26.?*The event, co-hosted by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and Wyoming State Parks, will take place at Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site in Hyattville. Summer is in full swing and big game hunting season is right around the corner. First-time hunters should not let barbeques, vacations and other activities sidetrack them into forgetting about signing up for hunter education. *Hunter education classes are still being offered statewide.
