That's how I've felt seeing MoveOn members turn out in city after city as the Banned Bookmobile tours the country—celebrating the freedom to learn, pushing back against MAGA book bans, and giving out tens of thousands of banned books for free. This is the sort of people-powered, attention-grabbing, high-impact, grassroots action that MoveOn members do uniquely well—and one more reason I'm excited to join 500 MoveOn members in person at MoveOn's 25th anniversary member summit this October in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

On October 21-22, MoveOn members from every part of the country will come together in Atlanta for a unique event. At the 25th anniversary member summit, we will:

• Celebrate our work together to make people-powered progressive change over the past 25 years.
• Hear from guest speakers and movement leaders, join high-level trainings to prepare us for the work of the 2024 election, and learn from one another as we share our experiences from around the country.
• Dig in to how MoveOn members will help us win the White House, Senate, and House in 2024—when high-stakes elections all across the country will require every ounce of passion, grit, and creativity we can bring to the fight.

I know what MoveOn members are capable of when we work together—from generating hundreds of thousands of get-out-the-vote contacts in 2020 and 2022 to helping pass the largest investment in climate in our nation's history to holding MAGA elected officials and their Republican enablers accountable ... to launching a Banned Bookmobile that's energizing the movement against book bans.
