A recent NBC News poll found that just 37% of Americans trust the FBI. Days after that poll was released, FBI Director Christopher Wray appeared before the House Judiciary Committee to answer questions about the Bureau’s recent overreaches, including the recent federal court opinion that ruled the FBI appears to have engaged in “arguably the most massive attack against free speech in United States history.”

This revelation is in addition to the laundry list of FBI abuses, including targeting concerned parents as domestic terrorists, raiding the homes of pro-life advocates, ongoing abuses of FISA, and characterizing conservative Catholics as violent extremists. And that’s just what we do know.

As a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, oversight of the FBI and the Department of Justice is one of my top priorities. That’s why I want to hear from you.
