The current federal minimum wage is $7.25, with 31 states following federal guidelines.
This wage was set ten years ago and has remained unchanged, meaning hard-working Americans have gone a whole decade without a raise while the country has experienced massive economic growth and CEOs took billions home tax-free.
It’s time to change that -- workers deserve to be paid fairly for their work. No one should have to work three jobs just to make ends meet.
