Strong Towns started as a blog written by just one guy in central Minnesota who wanted to speak his mind about what was going wrong in his town.  

Soon, though, it grew into a thriving community of people around the world—and we called it the Strong Towns Network. 

And now, you're a part of it. 

As Community Builder, I'm passionate about getting you connected to other exciting people within the movement who are working to make their towns stronger and more prosperous—and who can help you make your own town stronger, too. 

Here are just a few of the ways you can join the conversation with Strong Citizens from around the world. 

• We have a highly engaged community on Facebook, Twitter, and in the comments field of every article on our site. We're particularly proud of the level of civil, respectful discourse we see on our social media channels; jump in and see what you learn!
• My personal favorite for anyone who wants to go deeper? Our Slack community. Slack is the perfect place to meet other Strong Towns advocates in your area, share ideas about how to make your places stronger, and get the most out of all the resources our amazing community has to offer. And as a bonus, our team is all there, too—it's the perfect place to chat directly with us about the issues that matter most to you.
