I’ll be honest – summer is a very slow season for fundraising. Just take a look at how much our campaign’s fundraising has slumped over the last few days:

With so many people leaving the state to go on vacation and flee the heat, it’s no surprise that our fundraising has been taking a hit. But it’s still important for us to stay on track ahead of next year’s toss-up election. My Republican opponent, David Schweikert, is getting big checks from his mega-donors, so we can’t afford a summer slowdown.
