In Kansas, a judge recently sided with Republican AG Kris Kobach and ruled to ban all gender marker changes on driver’s licenses. This means that trans people all over the state will be stuck with a gender they don’t identify with on their official ID, opening them up to even more harassment.
Republican AGs are using inflammatory fear tactics to attack trans identities — rather than advocating for human rights, health care, or public safety. They’re spending their time in power arguing over one little letter on your driver’s license. It’s all about control for the Republican AGs — from your identity, to your health care choices. It’s unconscionable.
