With just 22 days until election day for Supervisor District 4, we face a pivotal moment in shaping the future San Diego County. Amy Reichert, the ONLY endorsed Republican candidate for Supervisor in District 4, is a committed advocate for her community.

As you read this, far-left special interest groups and top San Diego Democrat donors are working aggressively to drown out our conservative voices. They are investing heavily in anti-Republican messaging, aiming to distort our shared vision for San Diego. Now more than ever, we need to rally together. Electing Amy Reichert as Supervisor, as our only endorsed candidate.

In La Mesa, Councilwoman Laura Lothian has been fighting for citizens' right to protection.

Recently, La Mesa Councilmembers Jack Shu and Patricia Dillard drafted a proposed change to the La Mesa Municipal Code, Chapter 10.30, which sought to regulate firearm storage in residences, unfairly targeting law-abiding citizens. This unnecessary and overreaching legislation was met with overwhelming opposition from residents who value their right to self-defense.

We applaud the efforts of Laura Lothian, who, together with the mayor, bravely voted against this misguided legislation. The fight is not over, and we hope more people will rally against this unwarranted ordinance during its first reading.

Amy Reichert's campaign to become Supervisor and Laura Lothian's determined resistance against undue restrictions represent the strong leadership that our community desperately needs. As the only endorsed Republican in her race, Amy stands as a beacon of conservative values and principled governance.
