WHY:? The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to verify the accuracy of the tabulation of votes.
?Regardless of the timing or size of an election, the equipment is always tested to ensure accuracy and security,? said Oakland County Clerk/ Register of Deeds Lisa Brown. ?The public is welcome to observe and learn more about our transparent process.?
The August 8 election includes a non-partisan primary in the City of Southfield?s City Clerk race as well as local school district proposals for the Berkley School District, Clawson Public Schools, and Novi Community School District.
