In case you missed it: Ohio Republicans called a special election this summer with only one thing on the ballot: Issue One. That ballot issue that would make it much harder to pass citizen-led ballot initiatives, starting with a November initiative that would protect abortion access.

Whether it’s expelling state legislators they disagree with or gerrymandering districts to exclude Black voters, this ballot issue is part of a nationwide trend of MAGA Republicans attacking our democracy and fundamental freedoms.

That’s why we're making sure voters understand what's at stake in this special election, and encouraging everyone to turn out and vote to make their voices heard—by writing and sending letters directly to them.  

Writing letters is a proven way to increase turnout. And with such a low turnout summer election, every voter is going to matter to protect Ohio’s democracy.
