2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive
Dear Friend,

Today is the first day of our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive. That means it's a great day for YOU to make a powerful difference that will last through the summer and all year long.

There's so much to do, and so many lives at risk. We can't take the summer off. Our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive will help us improve the lives of those living with Alzheimer's disease or another dementia, as well as their caregivers, in the year ahead.

Alzheimer's remains an escalating global health crisis. Right now, more than 6 million Americans are living with this devastating disease, and over 11 million family members and friends are providing unpaid care. We need your help to provide more care and support, advance research and advocate for greater access to treatments that could benefit those living with early Alzheimer's.

Food and Drug Administration-approved treatment options have become available and shown promise in slowing the progression of the disease in those living with early Alzheimer's. These treatments show that by helping us invest in research, we are making progress toward ending this cruel disease, together. And our progress must continue.

That's why I'm writing to you today. I thank you for your interest in our work, but right now I'm asking you to take your commitment to the next level. Your first gift to our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive today will help provide more care and support and advance research that can continue to expand the treatment options available to those who need them. Please join with us to improve health and change lives.

Our work to end this devastating disease will not cease until there is a cure. To make that progress happen, we must continue to provide care and support and advance research. What we learn from all Alzheimer's clinical trials, regardless of outcome, moves science closer to new safe and effective treatments.

We are making progress toward ending this heartbreaking disease. But we know that each day this summer, more people will receive a diagnosis of Alzheimer's, and it will change their lives and the lives of those they love. We must make every day of summer count. You can do that by making your first gift to our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive now.

You'll help:
  • Ensure that master's-level clinicians and specialists are there every hour of every day to provide much needed care and support to caregivers and people living with Alzheimer's when they call our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900).
  • Advance critical research, so we can learn more about this progressive and fatal disease. Your support helps us continue to accelerate research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
  • Strengthen our efforts and work at the federal and state levels to pass legislation that will increase research funding and improve the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's.
Friend, thank you in advance for making our 2023 Summer Annual Fund Drive a success. Any amount you can give at this time will help further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
