I wrote The Rumi Prescription to spread a message of love and unity in a time increasingly defined by fear and hostility—and ideally, to help others do the same. So naturally, it feels fitting to use the launch of this book as an opportunity to support my own beloved Iranian-American community, without which The Rumi Prescription wouldn’t exist.
At a time when our community has endured threats of war, discrimination, and civil rights violations, I’m confident that the most powerful way to build hope and resilience is through raising awareness and building community the way NIAC has done so tirelessly for nearly twenty years now.
