Whether it’s delivering medicine or Social Security checks for seniors, notes from family and friends across the country, or ballots in elections, the USPS is a vital service that must be protected.

You might have seen recent headlines in the Hudson Valley area about local post office branches closing down. Truth be told, since President Trump appointed Louis DeJoy as Postmaster General, the USPS has been roiled with issues. From budget cuts and price increases to delayed delivery of at-home ballots in the 2020 election, the USPS has faced challenges under DeJoy’s leadership — and we're stepping up to fix it.

I’m proud to be working with labor leaders and local elected officials to protect the postal service and make sure every person receives their mail on time, and at an affordable price.
