Esther Joy King here running for Congress in Illinois’ 17th district! I recently had the pleasure of meeting Jack to discuss our shared vision for the future of our country. And let me say, the folks of Northern Michigan are lucky to have a leader like him representing their values in Congress.

Although Jack and I come from different places, we are bound by a life of service. We both had the honor of serving in our nation’s military to protect and defend the values we hold so dear. Like Jack, my time in uniform not only shaped the person I am today, but also pushed me to pursue a life of public service.

And that is why I am running to defeat Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairwoman, Cheri Bustos, in Illinois’ 17th district and joining Jack in finding commonsense solutions to our nation’s toughest issues.

As a proven advocate for our veterans and a strong national defense, Jack fights every day for folks in Michigan and across the country, and I look forward to working alongside him in Congress.

This November, we have a great opportunity to take back the House and restore strong, conservative values to Washington. But, we can’t do it without YOU!
