Members of the ultra-conservative Freedom Caucus passed amendments to further restrict abortion, deny gender-affirming care, eliminate diversity programs, and even referred to Black members of Congress as “colored people.”

It’s not about the issues.

It’s not about what they can accomplish for the American people.

It’s a race to the right and who can say these outlandish talking points the loudest.
