John,
Last weekend, Rashida hosted a training for workers to learn how to organize for their rights in the workplace.
Corporate greed is a disease in our country and workers rising up is a pathway to fight back.
Across the country, workers are demanding fair pay, safe working conditions, and dignity in the job. But they’re being met with opposition from greedy corporations that are seeking to pad the pockets of CEOs and shareholders while not sharing corporate profits with the workers who make those profits possible.
That’s why Rashida wants workers to have the skills and confidence needed to organize in the workplace and fight back.
33 people attended the training and the #1 question we heard was, “when can we do this again?!”
Here’s what two of the participants said:
“It was very helpful to learn practical methods to use when organizing and also hearing about people's real life experiences!”
“Very good training and look forward to the other upcoming training sessions.”
