Take a look:
Earlier this week I got to go out and spend time meeting voters in NY-03. I listened to their concerns and told them a bit about me and how I would serve them if elected to Congress.
I loved every second of it, and our team captured some great pictures that I want to share with you:
This is why I got into this race: to give back to the community that gave so much to me and my family. Throughout this campaign I want to spend as much time as I can out in the district, connecting with voters and learning what they need from their Representative. But in order for me to take everything I’m hearing from voters and actually put it into action in Washington, we first have to win this race.
The issue is, there are a lot of costs that go into running a campaign like this, including growing and paying our campaign team, printing flyers, running phone banks, and more — and it is up to us to drum up the resources we need to cover these costs.
But the more we raise from emails like this one, the more time I can spend out in the community — and the less time I have to spend on the phone, dialing for dollars. So what do you say? Will you chip in $5 to help send me to Congress so I can fight for our community?
