John, it is hot.
On July 18th, Phoenix broke the record for the most consecutive days over 110 degrees.
The old record was 18, set in 1974.
The new record is 24 days.
So, yes — it’s hot. But don’t lose hope.
Arizona is on the front lines of the challenges of climate change — but we’re also on the front lines of the solutions.
Thanks to the work you did helping Mark get elected, the Senate passed historic legislation aimed at curbing this crisis. President Biden signed it.
We’re investing in renewable energy, emissions reductions, and sustainability around the country.
But there’s more work to do. We can’t stop. Future generations are depending on us, and millions of people are ready to get to work.
Thank you,
Team Kelly
